An innovation does not happen overnight, it is a continuous process of trial and error. To innovate is to discover ideas, create, develop and to refine them into useful forms. To allow innovation to happen, we not only need to have the right and most advance tool in the business but we also need to have a space that allow social interaction and collaboration to happen because innovation is a collective process.

The concept of the design focuses on connecting people at different levels. Horizontally, it looks to provide connection between the new Greater Curtin Masterplan to the existing academic neighbourhood through ground floor activation and connecting people vertically by creating continuous flow of open space from the ground up.
