The project is an additional facility to the existing Archery WA facilities with international standard of indoor archery shooting area consisting of 15 shooting lines, spectator area and multipurpose outdoor deck. The design looks at challanging the nature of an indoor facility which has an inwards focus.
The design looks at incorporating a multipurpose outdoor deck to allow the design to be more flexible when it comes to the relationship between indoor and outdoor. The multipurpose outdoor deck offers a space for users to experience and interact with the sorrounding, acknowledging the vast Australian landscape as well as generating additional income for the facility.
